The Roundtable began with a brief summary of the principal recommendations from the 2020 Decadal Assessment of Plasma Science, emphasizing the aspects of the recommendations where increased coordination and cooperation among Federal agencies and programs may be most beneficial. The summary was followed by self-introductions of the Roundtable participants describing the scope of plasma science and engineering within the purview of their programs, followed by Q&A moderated by Profs Kushner and Zank. The short-term goal of the Roundtable was to familiarize the plasma science and engineering community and the Federal agency participants with each other, the purview and the mission of each agency, and the common areas of interest among the agencies. The long-term goal of the Roundtable was to identify potential new areas for future interagency collaboration and coordination.
